I bet nobody longing for obummercare can name a single thing the federal government ever took over that operated nearly as efficiently, nearly as successfully, didn't become a huge tax dollar sucking behemoth and a monument to bureaucratic inefficiency and waste. The answer is - NOTHING.
Sir Smugly, why should a doctor be forced to provide their services for free? Why should drunks, smokers, tramps, junkies, illegals or baby factories get their health care for free while sane people who take care of themselves have to pay for theirs as well as the mentioned groups? EVERYONE in America has "access to health care". The only real question is, "Who should pay for it?" The only rational answer is, "The person receiving it."
How much of the cost of health care is the direct result of governmental interference and regulation? TOO MUCH since there is nothing in the Constitution of the United States that gives the federal government any authority to interfere in health care. Disagree? Tell me where I can find it.
