A cell is like a submarine! I need to do a comparison for every major organelle...due tomorrow so time is of the essence. I am being graded on content and creativity, but I'm not very artistic. Please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Vacuoles store materials such as water for cells, so you can say they store the food for the submarine's crew.
Lysosomes digest foreign materials, I guess they can be like the trash cans of the submarine.
The ER transports materials, so I guess it could be the missile, since it packages them before they are sent to the golgi, which shoots them out.
