oxy acetylene question?
I have a small hole in my exhaust for my pump, I'm planning on giving it a shot with my torch, which rod should I buy, steel or a brazing rod.
Also any techniques you guys are familiar with would help, thanks.
Thanks
the pipe is made out of steel, the hole is not on the actual exhaust manifold, rather the pipe heading out of the pump house
You may want to use brass for this as it needs less heat to weld with. Assuming the hole in the tube wasn't made with a chisel it will be rusted thin there and if you use very much heat you will make the hole bigger.
