Want To Find Out About Air Purifier Review? Visit Here.

Inhaling polluted air poses a number of health risks. Although you cannot control the air outside, you can clean the air inside your home or office. An air purifier is a device that removes pollutants and other contaminants from air. Infants are especially sensitive and should not be exposed to dust and allergens.

Air purifiers help in removing dust, allergens likes pollens, smoke particles etc. Exposure to mineral dust and volatile organic compounds can cause cancer and lung diseases.

Air purifiers can be compared to water purifiers. Air purifiers, just like water purifiers, work by passing air through filtration units. Different types of filters are used for removing different components. Volatile organic compounds are removed by activated filters; micro filters remove dust and pollen.

Smoke particles are removed using electrostatic filters. Smoke particles get deposited on oppositely charged plates when passed through a high intensity electric field, large industries and power plants employ the same technology to remove smoke particles.. Ultraviolet light is used by some air purifiers to kill germs.

If you want to buy air purifiers you must carefully weigh out your requirement. Numerous air purifier reviews are posted on the internet, you can even discuss your requirements with other people on various forums. Manufacturer's websites are a good source of information, note the price and specifications for their various models. If you have queries, email the manufacturer. Oreck, Whirlpool, Honeywell are some of the prominent manufacturers covered by most air purifier reviews.

Air purifier reviews are also published by various home equipment magazines. The level of air pollution around you should dictate your choice. Most purifiers are classified according to their filtration capacity. If you live near industrial areas then you might need a high capacity air purifier. Types of filters provided and filtration capabilities vary with model and manufacturer. The greater the number of filtration stages the greater the price. Most air purifier models for home use come with effective dust and particulate matter filtration suitable for people suffering from asthma or allergies.

Why do most airconditioners require outside air?

It doesn't really make since why an air conditioner requires outside air..why don't air conditioners use internal air and keep cooling that air? Wouldnt that lower energy costs so that the unit isnt constantly trying to cool warm external air?

They don't actually require outside air; they ventilate the hot air to the outdoors.

If I understand air conditioning basics correctly, the room's air is sucked into the air conditioner throught the front panel (usually it's the panel with the filter in it), run through a compressor (which removes water from the air), then over the tubing with the coolant in it (thus cooling the air.) The dehumidified, cooled air is then blown back into the room.

If you feel the air coming out of the back of an air conditioner, it is hot, and it is indeed being blown out. I could be wrong, but I think that's the resulting heat generated by all the machinery inside the air conditioner being exhausted into the outside air.
