Weber Spirit E210 - Good Quality & Robust Grill
The Weber Spirit E210 Grill is probably one of the best value for money full sized entry level grills available. This grill is perfect for grillers who require a decent quality smaller type grill, but at the same time not as small as the Weber Q range. The grill is definitely not as large as some of it's bigger brothers, but should easily be able to prepare delicious meals for a family (unless of course your family is the size of a soccer team).
The E210 is available in black with either natural gas or LP gas (Liquid Propane). The gas tank is stored conveniently out of sight in a special enclosed tank storage area (tank is however not included). An electronic cross over ignition system fires up the two 13,000 BTU stainless steel burners giving you a total of 26,000 BTU-per-hour input. This will heat up your porcelain-enameled grates rather nicely and in no time the grill will reach 600 degrees. The high quality grates will ensure awesome and even heat distribution with no hot or cold spots. The total cooking area is 458 sq. inches which consists of 350 sq. inches primary cooking area with an additional 108 sq. inches for the warming rack.
Some other useful features of the Weber Spirit E210 include two stainless steel work surfaces, a porcelain enameled shroud and a center mounted thermometer. Working space on the one surface is however a bit limited as a result of the control knobs being placed there. The advantage of this is that it’s rather nicely out of the way of toddlers. The thermometer is a great feature and you will always know the grill's exact temperature. Let’s have a closer look at the construction, dimensions and features of the Spirit E210 Grill.

CONCLUSION
This grill is Weber’s entry level “bigger” type grill and not the same size as some of the larger grills available from Weber. Also don't expect any extra bell’s and whistles, but make no mistake the Weber Spirit E210 is still Weber top notch quality. What you can expect is a grill with solid construction from decent quality materials, brilliant temperature control that provides even and reliable heating with just about zero flare ups. While limited in size this grill is perfect for anyone who does not require a gigantic sized grill, but is still willing to pay a few extra bucks for a high quality product. If you believe in you get what you pay for, buying the Weber E210 Gas Grill will reaffirm that believe. Entry level or not, the Spirit E210 is still Weber reknowed quality.

what is a smart recovery thermostat.?
i am under the impression that a smart recovery thermostat can be set to lock out the strip heating. i was told that most heat pumps use the heat strips if set with more then one and one half degree difference. i.e. if the thermostat is set at 70 degrees and the set point to come on is a five degree difference then the heat strip comes on with the heat pump and stays on until 68.5 degrees. is this true? and can you give me the names of different thermostats that lock this out please? the cheaper the better as we are strapped for cash like everyone else now!!! thank you!!
There are several brands that offer this. They 'learn' how long it takes for your unit to heat up the home, and then start the process during that time, heating it slowly rather than all at once so that the heat strips are not activated.
Heat pumps are effective even below freezing, there's a surprising amount of heat even in cold air. About the only time the strips should come on is during defrost mode, and that's ONLY so that it provides heat for you during that cycle, they play no part in the actual defrost process.
