Draft Inducer Motor Wiring?
Replacing draft inducer motor (Fasco A079 single speed, CCW). There are two black wires on new unit. Splicing into the existing wires - which are also black. Does it matter which wire connects to which? Common sense tells me know cuz they both seem to be the same but want to make sure before I connect and power up. Thanks in advance.
It's a single phase AC motor, so it doesn't matter.
If it was 3 phase, or DC, then it would matter.
