We could be listening to the commentary from the latest televised rally championships. But this is the kind of heart pounding excitement that can be enjoyed with a Scalextric set at home.

how can I make digital fan art?
every time i look up anime like naruto and inuyasha or even transformers there are pictures poeple made. people even make their own version of the show with comic strips. how do peopel nahe those? I don't mean drawing it than scanning it I mean more like this picture at this addreass:

That image was probably painted in Photoshop. The artist could have done the line work by hand, then scanned and colored. Or they could have worked on Photoshop from scratch but from the variety of line thickness I'd say it was drawn in pencil.
Fan art is easier then Original art, because you already have the characters and settings available to you. All you need to do is arrange them in a way you like.
You still need to know how to draw, but it takes out some of the imagination work.
This picture isn't really that great. The background is just filters - and detracts from the picture really. The rest looks like it was colored with a bunch of flat tones, then they used the multiply / Screen and Burn features of the brushes.
