What was it called ?
I am not over 60, a few years to go but we just called it a clothes dryer and I actually have one built into my bathroom, it is a tall cupboard with 9 metal arms and a heater at the bottom with the metal grill to stop the clothes falling onto the heater. it is very expensive to use.
