Can you clean a BROAN Stove Exhaust Hood filter?
We live in an apartment and the filter in our Broan Exhaust Hood is nas-ty. Can we soak it in soap and water to clean or is this a special filter that HAS to be replaced? The photo is here...

It is mesh but it also looks like it has some sort of cotton? material. Someone said it's probably fiberglass. Will it hurt to get this wet?
I run mine through the dish washer...
