I ran up on a really interesting website today as I was doing my morning blog reading. It came from www.churchvideoideas.com , which is a great blog about everything involving church tech and more. So, the name of this interesting site… Oaktreeidea. The staff over at Oaktreeidea have put a vision into action; to create a place where innovators and thinkers and everything inbetween can come and relate their visions about church and more. Now I have to admit, at first I had a hard time figuring out what this site was all about and what they were trying to do but once I found out… it’s all aboard. One of the most interesting features I like about his site is they have a section called impact projects. If you have ever had a idea that you thought would be great if the Church could catch on and do it but did not know how to share it… this is the place for that idea. I read through all kinds of ideas this morning and it was encouraging to read what some people where thinking and visions they had. The site also gives a place for users to ask questions and other users in the network can answer and verbalize opinions on each one.
