Well, this week I wanted to let you know about a really creative idea I have heard about, a few times, to reach out to visitors. I have a friend, who is one of our customers, that has organized a team of volunteers that every night after service drive out to all the visitors house’s and they so discretely leave a yard sign in their front yard. Now this isn’t any old yard sign, it has some info on it thanking the visitor for coming to their service. I have some pictures below, thanks for the pics Troy!!
So, basically what happens is when the visitor wakes up in the morning, a youth in this case since Troy is a youth minister, they walk outside to see this little surprise. It’s a very creative way to tell your visitors Thanks! Troy has these signs made out of a inexpensive PVC material. On the front he has placed a clear pocket that lets him put their name on the sign and on the back you can see he will give them a food coupon if they come back next week. I will post here again soon with information on where to purchase these signs. In the meantime, if you have any creative ideas that you use in ministry, post a comment and let us know about them.
